PAYMENT CONDITIONS 

A pro-forma invoice will be drawn up at the time based on the venue hire charges disclosed at the time of booking. To fully confirm your booking, a 50% of total weeding costs is required as deposit which can either be by issuance of valid credit card details or direct deposit into our bank account.
Full payment is required 30 days prior to the wedding date.

IMPORTANT

As we receive many direct credits, it is very important that we can readily identify which transaction is yours. Similarly, if your direct credit is not received for some reason, this needs to be identified as soon as possible to avoid any delays.

It is therefore appreciated if you could Instruct your bank to identify the transaction as the name of your organization. This reference should appear in the details section of your bank statement. Provide us with a copy of the remittance advice as soon as the transaction has been completed. This will allow us to keep an eye out for the payment and confirm the same as soon as it is in our account.

WEDDING – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Prices are those ruling at the time of the written confirmation from. Thereafter, they are subject to annual review and any changes will be advised.

A minimum number of guests attending a WEDDING must be agreed upon booking. This number will be considered guaranteed and will be charged as a minimum. A final number must be advised no later than 30 working days prior to the event date. Any increase in numbers will be charged as per our standard tariff.

We reserve the right to move or upgrade (at no additional cost) your booking to one of our other conference suites at our discretion.

CANCELLATION POLICY

4 weeks notice or less – 100% of total charge (room hire + all catering)
6 week’s notice or less – 50% of total charge (room hire + all catering)

 

Where there are account facilities, invoices should be settled within 30 days of receipt. Invoices not settled within our 30-day terms will be subject to the addition of interest at 5%.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

(Incorporating the Hotels and Guest Houses Act (cap 195), Act No. 9 of 2006 Part 15,
Passed by the House of Representatives this 20th day of February 2006, Passed by the Senate 15th day of March 2006.)

  • Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji/ Manager is not liable to make good to any guest of theirs, any loss of or injury to any property brought to the hotel to a greater amount than $120, unless the guest approves that:
  • The property was stolen, lost or damaged through the default, neglect or willful act of the manager or their employee; or
  • The property was deposited by or on behalf of the guest expressly for safe-keeping with themanager or with an employee of theirs authorized or appearing to be authorized for the purpose, and was, if so, required by the manager or that employee, in a container fastened or sealed by the depositor; or
  • At the time after the guest arrived at the Hotel, whether the property was offered for deposit as aforesaid and the manager or their employee refused to receive it, or the guest wished to offer the property for deposit but, through the default of the manager or their employee, was unable to do so.
  • Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to a guest’s property which is: during participation in any activity; or caused or contributed to by the negligence of the guest or a reason of the type listed in the preceding paragraph; or not promptly reported to Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji on discovery
  • Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji shall not be liable for loss of or damage to a guest’s property except when proved to be caused through the negligence or willful misconduct of Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji.
  • In the event that performance of this Agreement is delayed or prevented by any cause reasonably beyond Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji’s control, including, without limitations, any acts or orders of government authorities, or by fire, flood or explosion, sale of Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji, necessary and essential construction, arrest or seizure and legal process, strike or other restraint of labor from whatever cause including flight delays, or act of terrorism, Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji will be discharged of its obligation to provide accommodation or other services.
  • Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji may engage appropriate transfers operators and other providers to coordinate and provide certain services. The transfer operators and other providers are solely responsible for and liable for providing their respective services. Guests are also subject to specific terms and conditions imposed by other providers.

PROPERTY DISCLAIMER

Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji is set within a natural swimmable public beach. Whilst every effort is made by the staff and management of Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji to ensure the safety of its guests, guests acknowledge as a condition of making their bookings that neither Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji nor any of its staff shall be liable for the death or injury of any of its guests or for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (save where caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji) suffered by any of its guests arising out of or in connection with use of the facilities and activities offered by Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach.

LOST PROPERTY

Where items belonging to guests have been found by a member of Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji staff, and were the owner can be clearly identified, guests will be contacted and any confirmed item returned to them by registered mail or courier at the expense of the guest. In the event the owner of any found item cannot be identified it will be logged and held in security for a period of three (3) months. If after this period the owner of the lost article has not contacted the property or has otherwise been identified, the article will be disposed of. In the event the lost article may have tangible benefit, the lost article will be given to a local charity organization after the three (3) month period has lapsed.

ALCOHOL POLICY

Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji is not a Bring Your Own (BYO) alcohol property. Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji is a fully licensed property and does not accept Bring Your Own (BYO) alcohol unless it is only consumed in the privacy of suits and is not allowed to be brought into the bars and restaurants. Guests Under 21 years old are strictly prohibited [Liquor Act of 2006, Part No. 9, Section 61 (1)] to consume liquor or for liquor to be sold to underage guests.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are covered in all respects by the LAW OF FIJI and any legal action arising under the contract shall be litigated only in the appropriate court having jurisdiction in that country.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend appropriate travel insurance coverage for all visitors to Ramada Suites Wailoaloa Beach Fiji to cover cancellation penalties levied as a result of inclement weather, airline or other transportation delays, other unforeseen disruptions, cancellations or delays or in the event of illness.

SUBSTITUTION OF FUNCTION ROOM

The Hotel may assign an alternative venue for your event if the appointed room is unavailable for any reason or the Hotel believes the appointed venue is no longer appropriate. If the number of participants increases or decreases in size in relation to the original reservation, the Hotel reserves the right to transfer the function to a room size which accommodates the revised number of guests. The Hotel will in every event consult with you before making any changes.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE HOTEL

If the Hotel is unable to provide the facilities or any other arrangements for your event or any part of it or cannot otherwise perform the terms of the Event Order due to circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control, the Hotel is not responsible for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer or incur.
